React Application Developer

FatCat Coders is expanding its Development Team! We're on the lookout for a curious, motivated, skilled JavaScript cat. Claws sharpened on the React framework are preferred.

Your primary focus will be on developing modern & technically challenging user interfaces while following best React coding practices. Due to the project being in the early stages of development, you will be developing the code from scratch along with your teammates.

Key responsibilities: 

• Be part of a dynamic team working on internal and client projects

• Understand client’s needs and suggest solutions

• Solve real customer problems and experiment with new ideas

• Collaborate with QA to ensure accurate and comprehensive testing coverage

• Contribute to troubleshooting and technical support for your projects

• Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle

• Recommend and implement improvements to processes and technologies

We expect you to have:

• At least 3 years of general industry experience

• Minimum 2+ years of experience with React

• Typescript knowledge

• Experience with tools like webpack, vite.js, and parcel

• Able to easily find your way around different libraries, frameworks, and technologies

• Excellent verbal and written English

• Solid work ethic - you are motivated to learn and work independently

• Dependability - you meet deadlines and can communicate roadblocks

• Passion - you enjoy what you do and relish working with new technology

• Experience with Node.js

Selection process

• Role-related prescreening: 20 min

• Technical task: ∼6-8h

• HR/Tech interview: 70-90 min

• Interview with our Management: 30 min
